Mark J. Langhans, MD
Mark
J. Langhans, M.D.
is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame,
where he received his Baccalaureate Degree in 1981. He went on to
obtain his Doctorate of Medicine at Northwestern University Medical
School in 1985. Following an internship in general surgery at Mercy
Hospital of Pittsburgh, Dr. Langhans completed his orthopaedic
surgical residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine
and Dentistry. He extended his training by completing a fellowship
in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at The Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Langhans joined Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in
1994. Dr. Langhans focuses on evaluation and treatment of patients with acute and chronic sports related injuries & conditions, with emphasis on minimally invasive arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder & knee. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Langhans holds advanced Subspecialty Certification in Sports Medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Mark Langhans has been performing IMEs for The Center for Musculoskeletal Evaluations, Inc. (CME) network since 1999. He performs IMEs for all general orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries, with a special interest in examinations involving the shoulder, knee, or elbow. (Dr. Langhans will not perform IMEs of the spine.)
